Every new academic year Junctions seeks members for the Editorial Team. As Junctions is a place to learn, we require no experience in academic journal or magazine, but only ask for an affinity with academia, an interest in (academic) publishing, and affection for footnotes.
Contributing to the early phase of Junctions: Graduate Journal of the Humanities will provide a great boost for your CV, especially if you’re considering applying for a PhD following your Master’s. Working together with Educational Directors and RMA programme coordinators, as well as the Advisory Board and Academic Editorial Board, you will train academic professional skills such as academic peer reviewing, the assessment of articles, writing a book review, writing a Call for Papers, etc. You will be exposed to a wealth of multi- and interdisciplinary student research, and help publishing and disseminating this knowledge.
If you’re interested in joining Junctions, or want more information on opportunities within the journal, please send an email stating your interest and study programme to Editor-in-Chief Jessie Wei-Hsuan Chen at editor[at]junctionsjournal.org.
Here is a detailed breakdown of the available positions and their responsibilities.
